President Donald Trump was passed over for the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday despite jockeying from his fellow Republicans, various world leaders and — most vocally — himself. Although Trump received a number of nominations for the prize, many of them occurred after the Feb. 1 deadline for the 2025 award(Bloomberg File) Opposition activist María Corina Machado of Venezuela was awarded the prize.
