Iowa Hawkeye Alex Schaake wins Nebraska Amateur golf tourney after seven playoff holes

LINCOLN — Alex Schaake didn’t light up a victory cigar Thursday as Bob Astleford would have, but there are parallels between how the University of Iowa senior won his historic fourth consecutive Nebraska Amateur golf title and how Astleford got there first back in 1965.
